My career as a broadcast journalist spans over a decade and I've been very fortunate to have been given the freedom to direct, interview and produce the stories I feel are worth telling. From raising awareness about autism to supporting men's mental health. It's everyday people that often have the most interesting stories to tell. Lives we can't imagine living, yet there are hundreds if not thousands of people doing so. James Morrell had a breakdown when his Alopecia caused all his hair to come out in his early twenties. Talking about it on camera was incredibly powerful and our finished video reached over 3 million people online. Raising much needed awareness of the condition and the support available to people who are going through something similar.
If you don't know who this man is, you're missing out. It's Michael Edwards, better known as Eddie the Eagle. He's a British Skier who was the first competitor to represent Great Britain in Olimpic Ski Jumping.
Before he became King, I spoke to The Prince of Wales in Gloucestershire as he officially opened the first major phase of the Cotswold Canals project. Not the most thrilling of topics but a memorable occasion in my career as a journalist.
James Cracknell: British athlete, adventurer and double Olympic gold medalist.
Johan Ackermann: Professional rugby player who played for several professional rugby teams and represented the South African national team. He also happens to be 6 feet 5 inches tall. For comparison, I'm only 5 feet 4 inches tall.
